Down Under Live!, the UK's biggest event for Australia and New Zealand returns to London, 18th to 20th February 2011 at the Business Design Centre, Islington.

Down Under Live delivers for visitors and exhibitors in London

Over 3000 people visited London at the Down Under Live event, excited about what Australia and New Zealand have to offer.

The show, held at the Business Design Centre in Islington, provided visitors with a wealth of independent information and advice on making the move of a lifetime - a move which more than 50,000 Britons will make this year alone. New additions to the event were the Travel Zone and Learning Zone, which attracted a new audience of students and travellers looking to experience Australasia for the first time.

One visitor, Steve Mannion from Surrey said the event was "fantastic" as it "provided loads of information and advice all in one place. I can't wait to go".

Amongst the exhibitors at the event were several state governments, relocation specialists; such as shipping companies and migration agents, as well as top name travel firms, airlines and experts from the world of studying overseas. The companies involved all commented on the quality of the visitors - many of whom were skilled migrants - as well as the distances they had travelled. The show attracted attendees from across the UK and even Europe, and many exhibitors had also travelled from Australia and New Zealand to attend the show.

So delighted were the exhibitors with the attendance - 3,166 visitors over the two days - that all stated they would be looking to exhibit again in 2011. One exhibitor, Mandy Monk from the Australian Youth Hostel Association, said "The quality of visitors was excellent, all planning definite trips to Australia", while another, Ruth Bayley from Bayley Team complimented the show organisers on being a "friendly and professional outfit". Stefan Watts, director of Study Options, said the show "went really well."

"We're delighted with the attendance and feedback from the show." said Lisa Doerr, the show's director, "Putting on an event in the current economic climate is difficult, but with the magazine in the market - Australia & New Zealand - behind us, we were sure this event would be great - and are very happy that it has delivered."

"Next years show will be even bigger, and will extend to 3 days to include a business migration seminar which will run on the Friday", she added.

Down Under Live! returns to London from the 18th to the 20th February 2010 at The Business Design Centre, London. The next events in the calendar will be held at the Royal Armouries in Leeds on the 27th and 28th March and at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham on the 25th and 26th September.
